Stories
Christmas time is actually the best.
I used to be a total grinch – seriously. In the past, I have been guilty of not doing ANYTHING Christmas-y until December 1st. I was that person who would snarl at Christmas carols on the radio, roll my eyes at Christmas lights, and refuse to do any shopping. Yeah, I told you, a TOTAL grinch. Until I started having Christmases with my in laws. Brandon and his family would bake the most delicious cookies, and pretty much go all out for the holidays. And this year it happened – my tree was up and completely decorated in the middle of November. My heart has officially grown three sizes people. I’m sooo excited for the holiday season this year. And I have the people below to thank for my high spirits this season.
Stouffville Wedding :: Kaitlin + Ryan
The grass was cut, the chairs were perfectly lined, and the sun light bounced off the white crisp tent.
Kaitlin + Ryan’s wedding was held on her family’s beautiful and pristine property in Stouffville and it totally blew my mind. Actually, the word pristine just isn’t perfect enough to describe the state of Kaitlin’s aunt and uncle’s 14 acre property. We were lucky enough to tour some of the fields before the ceremony and I instantly became filled with ideas and excitement for the photos I was going to be able to create with the gorgeous backdrop.
Toronto Engagement Shoot :: Eden + Scott
Let me start by saying this wasn’t your ordinary engagement shoot. We visited three locations, packed a picnic lunch, and shot during the sunset. I can’t think of any cool words to describe this engagement shoot other than EPIC.
Eden + Scott are good friends of ours and have been for a long time. So when they asked us to be apart of their wedding day next year, I basically did all the things an excited, extremely giddy girl would do, including jumping on the bed and prancing around our apartment. I was over the moon – because secretly I was crossing my fingers in hopes that they would ask us to shoot their wedding.
