YEAR IN REVIEW
The year 2018 will be one we will never forget. We photographed so many wonderful people, beautiful weddings and most importantly documented unforgettable moments. If you follow us on Instagram, you’ll know that we welcomed a little human back in August – which gives reflecting back on the year a whole new meaning.
Our 2018 wedding season was strongly inspired by moments. Weddings are full of meaningful moments which are often over looked. Like when the bride is alone with her dress before slipping into it, a moment between a groom and his father, a hug between friends, and a tearful moment during the speeches.
After having our little girl Ivy, moments between brides + grooms with their parents had a whole new weight to them we never realized before. I’ve always been that girl that cries at weddings but now that we have our own sweet little girl, traditions like the parent dances really get me in the feels, every time.
2018, thank you for your moments of challenge and blessings. It’s been a year to remember for all of our couples, but also for us – for being the lucky ones who captured their best moments. Here is a collection of moments from our 2018 season. Turn up the volume and have a watch.
To our couples: Thank you so much for your constant support. It’s a pleasure to document your cherished moments. We look forward to keeping in touch and following along as your family flourishes! So much love to you all!

Nikki + Adam :: Anytime Shoot
Last weekend, we met Nikki and Adam at Evergreen Brickworks for our Anytime Shoot. Nikki has been my best friend for over 12 years and I knew we would have a blast shooting together. Nikki’s lovely and kind boyfriend Adam had no problem wrapping his arms around her and making her laugh – Nikki’s giggle is extremely contagious
From Toronto to Kingston
As I stand here, on a crowded, hotter than hell TTC subway car, on my morning commute to work, all I can think about is “um, I have no idea how to write a blog. Or even write for that matter!” But I’m just goin’ for it. There’s going to be many firsts in these months to come on this new journey. It’s been a dream for a while to be a business owner, be my own boss and still be doing what I love to do. I’m scared, excited, nervous, ecstatic, and all of the mixed emotions you could possibly think of to begin this awesome new chapter in our lives.

Scarborough Bluffs Maternity Shoot :: Angie + Matt
The Scarborough Bluffs were bustling with laughter from the many families that filled the park on a Sunday evening; a prefect scene for a maternity shoot. It was only fitting to be surrounded by energetic children during our shoot with Ang + Matt because they are weeks away from becoming parents for the first time.
Now, I may have a biased opinion as she is my sister, but my gosh, Ang has been absolutely glowing the past few months with her pregnancy.
Lynde Shores Engagement Shoot :: Kaitlin + Ryan
I had been looking forward to shooting with Kaitlin + Ryan for weeks leading up to their engagement session. Kaitlin and I emailed back and forth and scheduled the perfect day to meet up at Lynde Shores Conservation Area in Whitby. We gathered our gear on an early Saturday morning and headed up to Whitby. On our way there the rain clouds started to roll in and I really tried not to notice their presence looming over our heads. We arrived at Lynde Marsh and exchanged quick hugs and got right into shooting.

Distillery District Wedding :: Erin + Nick
Distillery District Weddings – oh how we love thee.
The vintage charm of it always makes couples in love stand out and stops onlookers in their tracks. We adore shooting weddings there not only because it’s close to home, but because of the history and character it possesses. It’s for these reasons why Erin + Nick decided to get married there and I’m so glad they did!
